McC Loyalty Motorsports and similar aftermarket intake manifold kits use a factory installed adapter on the throttle body for the installation of a Toyota TPS. The stock TPS with adapter configuration is great for those on factory engine management without the ability to re-calibrate their TPS.
However, this Low Profile Throttle Position Sensor is a much better fitting option for those with the ability to recalibrate their TPS sensor. These allow you to remove the factory installed adapter and install directly to the 90mm throttle body supplied with most aftermarket intake kits.
This setup greatly improves clearance in areas that are typically problematic. As seen in the product images: Mkiv Supra’s and Sc300’s have tight fitment with the factory fuse box and OEM TPS, while our low profile TPS has ample fitment.
This product includes the low profile TPS sensor and updated pigtail (see photo with boot).
